The evidence

Edgar P. Jacobs worked for Hergé from 1944, recolouring early Tintin albums and contributing drawing and story to The Seven Crystal Balls and Prisoners of the Sun. Blake and Mortimer launched in the first issue of Tintin magazine in 1946, in the same ligne claire.
