Dragonlance Chronicles influenced Dragonlance: Legends Trilogy

Weis and Hickman, the same world of Krynn, and a direct continuation: Legends follows Raistlin Majere out of the first trilogy and makes him the centre of the second. Both were published by TSR as fiction attached to the Dragonlance campaign setting, so the shared universe is a commercial fact as much as a narrative one.
