Marvels

Forty years of Marvel's history seen from street level by a news photographer who is frightened of the people he photographs, from the first appearance of the Human Torch in 1939 to the death of Gwen Stacy. Painted in oils by Alex Ross, and the heroes are almost never seen at eye level, which is the whole argument of the book.
