Mickey 17

Bong Joon-ho's Mickey 17 adapts Edward Ashton's novel Mickey7, about an expendable colonist reprinted in a new body each time he dies; the film adds ten deaths to the title and its own satire of the colony's leader.

Bong Joon-ho told the Los Angeles Times that the alien Mama Creeper, the matriarch who negotiates for her captured child, was inspired by The Godfather.
