About the work

The Time Machine

A Victorian inventor, known only as the Time Traveller, builds a machine and travels to the year 802,701, where humanity has split into the gentle, childlike Eloi above ground and the Morlocks, who live below and feed on them. After recovering his stolen machine, he travels further still, to a dying Earth under a swollen red sun.
