This is a series.

An Amazon raised on a hidden island leaves it with a downed British spy, convinced that the First World War is the work of a god she can kill. The centre of the film is her walking out of a trench and across No Man's Land alone because she has been told it cannot be crossed. It settled a decade of studio excuses about who could lead one of these.
