About the work

The Gods of Pegāna

A cycle of short prose myths about an invented pantheon: MANA-YOOD-SUSHAI, who made the gods and then fell asleep; Skarl the drummer, who drums so that he will not wake; and the lesser gods who made the worlds and play with the lives of men, knowing that everything ends when he wakes.
