About the work

The Mark of Zorro

In Spanish California, the languid and foppish Don Diego Vega secretly rides as Zorro, a masked swordsman who defends the poor against the corrupt governor's men while he courts Lolita Pulido. The first film of the character, adapted from The Curse of Capistrano, with Douglas Fairbanks in the role that made the swashbuckler.
